  • Workers Comp Insurance in Florida | Pay-As-You-Go Plans | iBusinessSolutions

Simplify workers comp insurance in Florida with expert support from iBusinessSolutions. Enjoy pay-as-you-go plans, no large down payments, and expert audit support. Simplify Workers’ Compensation in Florida with Pay-As-You-Owe Coverage Choosing the Right Workers’ Comp Policy can give you predictable cash flow. Most states require businesses to carry Workers' compensation insurance and requirements can vary based on factors such as location, industry, and number of employees. In Florida, eligibility is based on employee count, and workers’ compensation rates are set by the state. Because rates are regulated, the real difference from one agency to the next is the expertise, service, and support they provide. With over twenty years of nationwide experience, we specialize in making workers’ compensation simple and stress-free. We take the burden off your shoulders by actively managing your policy and helping you avoid costly mistakes. Our Pay-As-You-Owe payment plan eliminates large down payments, improves cash flow, and aligns your premiums with actual payroll, which frees up capital you can reinvest in growing your business. We go beyond placing a policy. Our team assists with inspections, audits, class code verification, compliance guidance, and other critical details that can significantly impact your costs and exposure. No matter where you operate, we provide the hands-on support and expert advice businesses need to stay compliant, control expenses, and focus on what matters most running their business. REQUEST A FREE QUOTE Understanding PAY-AS-YOU-OWE, or PAYO Are you tired of paying installments based on estimated payroll amounts? Are you tired of taking time out of your busy schedule to remit payment? Not only is it time-consuming, but an installment pay-plan can often lead to an unexpected audit balance. Since the premium for a Work Comp policy is based off the estimated annual premium for the following year, it can be challenging to track. There may be natural rises and falls in your payroll throughout the year, which has a direct impact on the premium paid to the policy. With PAYO, the premium is based on the specific amount of payroll for each check date. This prevents inaccurate premium payments, which often leads to unpleasant audit results. Although comp audits rarely result in a zero balance, the PAYO payment plan allows for significantly more accurate audit results. Our PAYO program allows you to reap the benefits of your comp policy without the stress and loss of time. To find out more, please reach out to our Work Comp department for more details. Transparency in Coverage The Transparency in Coverage final rules require non-grandfathered group health plans and health insurance issuers offering non-grandfathered coverage in the group and individual markets to disclose on a public website information regarding: In-network negotiated rates for covered items and services Out-of-network allowed amounts and billed charges for covered items and services As of July 1, 2022, these machine-readable files (MRFs) must be made “publicly available and accessible to any person free of charge and without conditions, such as establishment of a user account, password, or other credentials, or submission of personally identifiable information (PII) to access the file” and must be updated on a monthly basis. The website where these MRFs will be housed is: Important notes about these files: These files are extremely large (minimum file size is 20 GB) and are designed to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers with data related to payment rates for health care services. Due to the size of these files, an individual’s ability to view or download these files will be dependent on their hardware, browser, and internet speed. The data on these files does not reflect the application of benefits or cost-sharing (deductibles, copayments, coinsurance) for a specific health plan. Each MRF uses a standard data format and schema (JSON) defined by federal agencies. For fully insured groups, there will be one MRF per plan network (BlueOptions, BlueCare, etc.). For self-insured groups, there will be one MRF per plan network (BlueOptions, BlueCare, etc.) per group employee identification number (EIN). Users should contact their employer directly to obtain their EIN. All MRFs will only include rates for benefits that Florida Blue or Truli for Health administers – rates for benefits that are “carved out” to other vendors (i.e., pharmacy) will have to be obtained from that vendor. • Manage Certificates of Insurance Online | iBusinessSolutions

iBusinessSolutions makes insurance compliance easy—manage your certificates of insurance online, reduce liability, and simplify vendor risk management. Sign up now! Take Control of Your Insurance Certificates — Fast, Easy, Online What is a Certificate of Insurance (COI)? A COI is an official document that acts as proof that a business has active insurance coverage. It provides an overview of the policy, including key details such as coverage types, limits, and dates. A COI is required when a business is hired as a subcontractor by another business. It can offer assurance and establish trust, especially in business dealings like hiring subcontractors. If a subcontractor does not have a COI showing their own Work Comp coverage, the insured will be responsible for the subcontractor’s Work Comp coverage. What is a Waiver of Subrogation (WOS)? A WOS is a contractual agreement which forfeits the right to pursue an at-fault party for a Workers’ Compensation claim. If a claim occurs regarding a subcontractor on a job, and they do not have their own coverage, the company who hired them is responsible for the damages. The company could choose to subrogate the loss by seeking damages from a third party. However, with a Waiver of Subrogation, the right to subrogate is relinquished. A WOS can be endorsed onto a policy for an additional fee. The business can choose either a Blanket Waiver, which can be used for many, or a Specific Waiver which has one specific business listed. Why You Need a Certificate of Insurance 3. Reduces liability. By carefully documenting certificates of insurance from all third-party vendors, you're setting yourself up nicely for transferring loss to that party's insurer in the event that something goes wrong. 4. Protects you when outsourcing. Contingent work comes with a unique set of insurance hazards. Performing due diligence and checking each vendor's policy against your requirements could profect you from incidents that could lead to costly litigation and effect the profitability of your ventures. 1. Proves your insurance status. The COI is a summary of an insurance policy. It effectively serves as proof of insurance, without the bulk of the policy itself. 2. Provides quick access to information. A COI constitutes an express version of an insurance policy. This convenience could save you dozens of hours of work each year. Certificates of Insurance Requests Made Simple If you need a COI, Current iBusinessSolutions' Work Comp clients can process their own certificates in a few easy steps! Step 1: Contact iBusinessSolutions to set up your account Create an email to: COI@iBusinessSolutions.com Allow 48 Hours to process this request. Once complete, you will receive confirmation with a provided password. Be sure to save this password so that way it is not lost. Step 2: Prepare your COI at NowCerts.com Visit NowCerts.com to begin processing certificates: NowCerts Login Enter the email address and password provided in the confirmation email If password is lost you can request that it be e-mailed to you after supplying the appropriate email address.
